(do we still have a constitution?)

A message needs to be sent to the Governors, Mayors & Police that they are one of the 99% and if they continue their behavior they too will be out of work with no hope of a future!

RTAmerica–Oct 25, 2011–Police officers in Oakland covered in riot gear ransacked through occupiers belongings and trashed dozens of tents. Approximately 85 protesters were arrested early this morning. The protesters had been occupying for two weeks and say the police were armed with flash grenades and guns with rubber bullets. Late last night, Oakland police, under orders from the city, began surrounding the Occupy Oakland encampment in preparation to oust the protesters from Frank Ogawa Plaza.

Approximately an hour ago, hundreds of Oakland police officers raided the camp. Dressed in riot gear, the police used rubber bullets, flash grenades, and gas canisters to forcibly evict and/or arrest the demonstrators who remained in the plaza. The Occupy Oakland Twitter account live-tweeted the raid:

Unbelievable that this can happen in America!
